3-17-04 ... Just got back from mexico. Damn what a good time. I highly recommend anyone who can go to a Rallye, GO! Check out some pics I got. Mexico Rallye 2004

3-3-03 ... Nothing really new. Just been enjoying the weather a lot. God I love that Lotus. I have been driving her every nice day. Use it or loose it, right? Changed the oil this past weekend. What a fiasco. Finally bought a 12mm allen to pull the drain plug which was the easy part. Getting the filter off was impossible. Everything in the way of getting to the filter from beneath is held by zip ties so I cut my arms and hands up good. Of course the filter was stuck. After 30 minutes of grunting and 2 rotations of the filter she broke free... literally. the only reason why she came off was because the gasket on the filter tore off! Good now though. New filter, oil bead, and fresh oil. Next is the Talon. She needs a new driver's side axle since the boot ripped. That'll get done this weekend. And then... next week... MEHICO!!! Going there for the Corona Rally. Look for some kickass pictures in a few weeks of that!

2-19-04 ... Update time! Been kinda busy lately. On the Lotus front, I decided to install the #5 330HP chip in the Lotus. Wow what a difference. Much nicer and I highly recommend it over the high torque #3 chip. You loose that low end passing power but gains smoothness and insane top end. With the addition of the new chip, I decided to install the BOV as well. Very easy install, taking maybe an hour thanks to crusty 10 year old hoses crumbling in my hands. Figuring to go for the triumvirate, I pulled the roof panel off and cleaned up the tongues and greased it up good. Guess what? No more rattles! Sweet! Also bought a new boost and fuel gauge. Can't wait to see the actual boost I am running as well as a non-bouncy fuel gauge! ALso got the Andy Whittaker logger working. Took a custom made straight-thru cable, but it works now. Yes! As far as the Talon is concerned, nothing new. Same pile o' crap. Kinda would like to sell it and get a car with a warranty that is quiet and ncie to drive and not rough, but I can't bring myself to do it. I love the power!

1-22-04 ... Well it is about time for another update, huh? been real busy lately. Had to replace the axle seals in the Lotus... twice... because I am a dumbass and messed them up. Also had the turbo decide to die a horrible death in the Talon. Oil everywhere and I weas on mosquito patrol wherever I went. But a new turbo is installed, bigger and badder than before. I plan to hit the dyno soon with that as well as the Lotus and I look forward to installing the 330HP chip in the Lotus soon. other than that, life is the same. Cars are now good and I am enjoying them both. Perhaps soon I will finisht he exhaust for the Lotus as well, but for now, she will remain untouched.

8-14-03 ... Yes, another update! A couple days ago I installed chip #3, S4s high TQ chip from PUK Racing. Absoluely wonderful. It is still re-learning everything but the car is so much smoother and a little faster too. Boost comes on hard and quick and the car pulls nicer on the top end as well while being a little more civil when just tooling around town. Definitely a worthy modification.

7-27-03 ... Well. What an update. A lot has happened these past couple weeks. First off, I got the title to the Lotus. She is officially mine now. She has been on the road for close to 3 weeks and she has 1000 more miles on her. I have replaced the rear brakes, replaced the interior light I broke, and have the heater cable in my possession, ready to go in. I also broke down and ordered an upgraded chip for more power from PUK Racing as well as a BOV. I'll post back when I get them and install them. Also, the Eclipse is SOLD! I can't believe it myself but a nice kid named Joe came up from Florida to buy it. Crazy. I miss her, but she is in a good home where she will be driven more often than I could have driven her. I am still not taking her page down but eventually I will. I am also working on a Lotus history page which should be up with the next update.

6-9-03 ... What a weekend. As some of you know, I have decided to finally follow my dream and get a Lotus. Well on Friday I drove down to check another one out and I came home with her! That's right, I am a Lotus owner. Check out the Lotus Page for more info.

6-5-03 ... I finally swapped the head out in the Eclipse to solve some problems I was having with overheating. Took 4 nights in the garage, starting when I got out of work and lasting into the wee hours of the morning. All the hard work paid off though. Wow, what a difference. Car feels brand new again. I love it. I had plans to sell her, but after this fix, I don't want to! I also fixed a HUGE exhaust leak in the Talon. Turns out 2 of the 3 bolts holding the downpipe on decided to fall off!

4-25-03 ... I finally go the 1G to the dyno. She had a lot of issues, but I was able to lay down some good power at 21psi boost on 93 octane pump gas. Check out the dyno plot. Upon returning home and performing an intake leak test, I found I was leaking boost at idle. Patched all my boost leaks up and the car feels great. Can't wait to finally get her to the track this year. Hoping for 11s. Not bad for a 2.0L 4 banger, huh?
